I want to thank you
for bringing the band to the
playoff game on Saturday. I did not
know you guys (Marching Mustangs Pep Band) were coming so
to see our kids pile out of the bus was absolutely wonderful. I
want to thank you and your band for all that you did for the
athletic department this fall season, the band plays a huge role
in getting our fans into the games and getting our kids pumped
up. Thanks for your support.

Marching Mustangs & Color Guard
visit Junior High Schools
10-15-07

The Marching Mustangs took their show on the road
and traveled to Sandburg Junior High and St. Colette's in Rolling Meadows.
This annual event helps promote the Music Department and shows potential
Junior High students what it's like to be in the Marching Mustangs. They
performed their halftime show music from "Textures", the school fight song,
parade music
and ended with a few fun pep tunes. At St. Colette's, band members and Mr.
Buti answered various questions from the students.

Band-O-Rama Concert
10-16-07
The Music Department held their annual Band-O-Rama
Concert which signals the end of the Marching Band season. Countless hours
of rehearsal time beginning in June are spent working on a successful season
and this year's show "Textures" was no exception.

The Band-O-Rama concert features the Marching Bands' program for 2007
which included: Drum cadences, opening football game ceremony music, the National Anthem, RMHS
fight song and Alma Mater song, this year's entire "Award-winning" half-time
show "Textures", pep tunes and Color Guard performances. The band then
presented Senior Drum Major Samantha King with a gift for all of her help, dedication
and spirit throughout the marching season.
